Proposed system framework. For the given query image, the sign and magnitude patterns for each direction are computed. Finally, the LLDNP_S and LLDNP_M are computed for the entire image. The histogram is built for LLDNP_S and LLDNP_M patterns. The histogram is concatenated and the features are extracted. The similarity measure is used for classification and finally the relevant images are retrieved from the database
