Grid calibration procedure. The calibration procedure requires the user to manually specify premarked control points (indicated with arrows) along the borders of the experimental region of interest. The intersection of lines passing through the control points creates calibration cells (e.g., yellow square). A bilinear mapping is used within corresponding cells to transform trajectory vertices from pixel space to a 2D plane in world space.
