On the right, from top to bottom, we show a simple CGA shape grammar derivation sequence. First, the mass model (aka. initial shape) is shown. Next, we show the intermediate result after a first subdivision (step in Listing 2) and the final model after step. This subdivision sequence (mass facade floor window) is quite generic and was used to reconstruct the Candler building (Atlanta, USA) which is shown on the left.
