EURASIP Journal on Image and Video Processing welcomes submissions to the special issue on Applications of Visual Analysis of Human Behaviour

This special issue focuses on the applications of the visual analysis of human behaviour, which is intended to encourage development of innovative theoretical and/or application-based solutions to help enhancing the pace and quality of the progress in the context of the main topic. Original research and review articles are welcome.

Potential topics include but are not limited to:

• 2D and 3D human recognition and identification 
• Emotion recognition 
• Emotion induction 
• Personality analysis 
• Human activity recognition 
• 2D and 3D gesture recognition 
• Human-computer interaction 
• Multi-modal visual analysis of human behaviour 
• Physiological signals and their effect on emotion 
• Contact-free extraction of physiological signals, like heartbeat, fatigue, stress
• New applications of deep learning for the automatic analysis of humans
  

Submission Instructions

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure you have carefully read the submission guidelines for EURASIP Journal on Image and Video Processing. The complete manuscript should be submitted through the EURASIP Journal on Image and Video Processing submission system. To ensure that you submit to the correct special issue please select the appropriate special issue in the drop-down menu upon submission. In addition, indicate within your cover letter that you wish your manuscript to be considered as part of the special issue on Applications of Visual Analysis of Human Behaviour. All submissions will undergo rigorous peer review and accepted articles will be published within the journal as a collection.
