Measurement comparison matrices for 8 cameras. While cameras may exhibit variable performance even when using the same configurations, some configurations may be inherently better than others and exhibit similar performance across the network. To discover these configurations, 100 trials are performed on each camera under a variety of parameter configurations (i.e., resolution and compression) and each recorded measurement is compared for Pareto efficiency against the other 99 trials. This results in a symmetric matrix where vertical and horizontal axes indicate the measurements and , respectively (i.e., the top-leftmost square in each matrix indicates the relationship of against ). Red indicates that a particular is inferior to a particular , green indicates superiority, and a solid horizontal yellow line denotes rows which are completely Pareto-efficient (i.e., either superior or non-inferior against all other 99 trials).
